About Me

So now, a little about me. I grew up in Pennsylvania. My family moved quite a bit, and I also did in my adult life. My moves took me to towns all in a wide area in North Central Pennsylvania.

I graduated from Williamsport Area High School in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. It seemed as though I would stay in Williamsport forever, but a trip changed all of that. I was passing through the valley of the twin rivers, and became comfortable there.

Off the top of my head, here's a list of my interests. Some of them include: fishing, gardening, all kinds of reading, drawing and painting, Tom Clancy books, the game called Harpoon, military aircraft, cars - especially Mustangs, history, genealogy, computers, music, electric guitars, basketball, watching football, watching movies, playing computer games.

When I'm not doing all of that, I'm usually using a computer-working on web pages, helping others with pages and /or computer questions, or teaching what I know about those subjects.

My most favorite of all is playing an electric guitar! As you can tell from this site, I love the Blues, but I also like all kinds of Rock & Roll.

The River

All of the areas where I have lived have been in the Susquehanna River Basin. This includes the Susquehanna River and all of its tributaries. It flows from New York State, through a large part of Pennsylvania, all the way to the Chesapeake Bay. I was told by a teacher that Susquehanna is an Indian word meaning "Broad and Muddy." I'm not sure if that's true, but I do know it is a beautiful river system. I know that from a lifetime of fishing, boating, hiking, and just sitting on the banks, enjoying!

On The Air: Radio Stations

Here are some radio stations that I really like. If you are ever in their broadcast area, check them out. I'm sure you'll find one, or a few that you'll enjoy. I always liked the outrageous comedy of Gary Chrisman on KISS-FM, the Rock and Roll of WAAL and WQSU, and the all around good listening of WHOT. Also great listening on WINK 106...check them all out!
